Model Making

Sarah worked for several years as a model maker in New York City, predominantly creating one-of-a-kind photographable models for advertisements.

She particularly enjoyed working on this exact scale model of the human knee, meticulously carved by hand from acrylic.

Ice cubes and ice chips that don’t melt away during a photo shoot are always in demand.

Sarah is constantly making something. Working in fabric and creating soft sculptures has been a favorite medium since her childhood.

These little pieces of wooden furniture live alongside many of the soft animals that Sarah has made over the years.
